Introduction

This is the primary documentation for APIs provided by Smart Solutions for the SmartPages platform.

The SmartPages platform is a suite to manage digital passes and customers.

Audience

The documentation on this site is intended for developers building software that integrates to the SmartPages platform.

An active and verified account is required to talk to any of our APIs.

Base URL

The REST API is served from https://smartpages-api.smartsolutions.is/api/v1. Call it from your own server: your API keys must never reach a browser or an app.

Add-ons

Each group of endpoints needs add-ons enabled under Add-ons:

• Passes (including scanning), Pass templates and Members need the REST API add-on.
• Pass Delivery needs the REST API and SMS add-ons.
• SMS needs the SMS add-on.
• Push Notifications need the REST API and Pass push notifications add-ons.

What you can build

• Create, update and scan passes: Passes
• Read your pass templates: Pass templates
• Send push notifications to pass holders: Push Notifications
• Text a pass link to a customer and follow the delivery: Pass Delivery and SMS
• Let members add their membership pass from your own portal or site: look them up by kennitala with Members, then send them to the pass delivery page or text them the link
